A slightly rust/brown color carpeting creates a nice contrasting look.
A stainless steel gauge cluster plate encases actual gauges, not warning lights, a large speedometer and original AM radio.

Another notable change was an attractive hardtop roofline similar to the Chrysler/Desoto designs.
Switching to a one-piece drive shaft the engineers were able to flatten the floor, which also allowed them to flatten the roof.

The change to 14' wheels from larger wheels made the 1958 Packard noticeably lower.
