The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is great at working with people and displays excellent organizational skills.
A successful candidate will have previous experience running social media platforms on a professional level and will excel at working in a team environment.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Execute a results-driven social media strategy.
Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
Attend events and produce live social media content (potential travel opportunities).
Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
Collaborate with team to create a social media calendar.
Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
Assist in sales related to social media inquiries.
Ensure all phone calls/emails are answered and/or transferred quickly and efficiently Review for errors, missing pages, or missing information and resolves any discrepancies.
Uses basic office equipment (photocopy machine, fax machine, etc.
) Maintains a satisfactory level of quality and productivity per department standards Ensure and observe all safety and housekeeping rules and guidelines Additional assigned tasks as required.
Skills:
Excellent people and phone skills Moderate to advanced computer skills Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and HTML Excellent social listening skills Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices Must be comfortable with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook as well as communicating with other departments Manage incoming communications in a prompt, efficient, timely and professional manner meeting all accuracy and productivity standards Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills Great attention to detail Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills Ability to travel to events for interaction with potential customers and content collection High school degree or equivalent Positive attitude and ability to keep a calm/clear head in high pressure situations
