5K a year POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY Under the supervision of the Storeroom Manager, consistent with the organization chart and following established administrative guidelines, departmental policies and procedures, standards and schedules, performs functions related to:
receiving, processing, storing/warehousing, inventory, distribution/collection/disposal of hospital supplies, materials and equipment to include the correct administration of all related documents.
Regularly performs the duties of associates assigned to Storeroom and Receiving that established quality and production standards are met.
EDUCATION/
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 to 1-1/2 years current experience working in a healthcare storeroom/receiving environment preferred.
Inventory control management and strong computer skills required.
Must be adept to detail.
Must be able to read, understand, interpret, and process all related forms and documents and perform mathematical calculations.
Valid driver's license required.
Must be able to grasp job responsibilities; demonstrate leadership skills; and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
