DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
Prepare legal documents, correspondence, memos and pleadings, transcribe dictation, e-filing, open and maintain files (both electronic and physical format), receive, place, and screen telephone calls and convey detailed messages to the attorney, maintain calendar, schedule appointments, conferences and meetings and update client and case information (both electronic and physical format).
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Need someone with recent Legal Assistant/Secretary experience in a variety of areas of law.
We are general practice so experience in personal injury, guardianships, family law, estate planning and administration and criminal law is a plus.
The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion is required.
Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office and possess good typing skills.
Wage/Salary based upon experience as a Legal Assistant/Secretary.
